Ports, a fortified wine, comes in 4 different styles depending on how it was aged: red, white, rose and tawny port. It is most served as an after-dinner drink paired with dessert and is typically just below room temperature. Common flavor profiles are raspberry, blackberry, caramel, cinnamon, chocolate sauce.
Most Port’s you see today are made of average quality since fine port’s are highly treasured and cost hundreds of dollars.
