In the world of small batch and craft beer you hear this saying quite often: “Drink Local!”. We are all about supporting our local breweries at Grand Wine and Spirits so we are happy to announce new local beers available at our stores! We now carry Outer Light Brewing Company’s full line up of cans. Outer Light is situated just ONE MILE away from our store on Rt. 12 in Groton! The range includes their refreshing and complex amber ale “Lonesome Boatman”, the dark and delicious coffee stout “Libation Propaganda”, and their tribute to their home, and the submarine capital of the world “Subduction IPA”. Also keep your eyes out for their elusive and delightfully dank “Cloud Break IIPA” it goes quick, so grab some when you can.
Another great local brewery which now has their product on our shelves is 30 Mile Brewing Company. 30 Mile is just one exit South of our store on Halls Rd. in Old Lyme. Their current offering is “Baby Fight Club” a wonderfully juicy single Citra hopped American IPA. 30 Mile is new to canning and distributing their beers, but I am sure we will see many more awesome releases in the coming months.
